Margie Rodriguez attended the University of Texas Pan-American in Edinburg TX where she received her Master’s in Science in Nursing in May of 2008. She received her Family Nurse Practitioner from American Nurses Credentialing center shortly thereafter.

Prior to working at Pulmonary and Sleep Center of the Valley (PSCV) she worked alongside Dr. Ortiz, Dr. Abreu and Dr. Kaplan as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Knapp Medical Center for 4 years. She has received training in cognitive behavior therapies for insomnia, pulmonary disease and sleep disorders. She is currently a sub-investigator and study coordinator in ongoing research trials at PSCV.

Ms. Rodriguez and her husband have a daughter and a son. She enjoys traveling, reading and participating in recreational fitness events.
